Perhaps the souls are chosen for us. Perhaps they choose us. I'm not sure how alike I am to a lion though. Your soul sounds far more beneficial. I'd like to see it.

I've... awoken with a tail once. And with more bestial ears more than once. But I've been able to shift them away each time. I suspect as the corruption progresses that will no longer be the case.
